FEC France at NRF Paris: Live Demos, a New U-POS Launch, and a Booth Built Around Groupe Asten

Retail doesn't stand still, and neither did our booth this week. FEC France joined Groupe Asten at NRF's Retail's Big Show Europe in Paris, bringing our omnichannel POS hardware to the floor for three days of live demos, product conversations, and one very well-received new launch.
From all-in-one terminals to mPOS and self-checkout kiosks, the goal was simple: let retailers see, touch, and try the hardware that runs their stores — not just hear about it in a slide deck.
A Booth Built for Omnichannel Retail
Set up jointly with Groupe Asten under Hall 4's busy J aisle, the booth paired FEC's hardware with Asten's software stack — showing the full omnichannel picture from checkout to back office, end to end, live on the show floor.
Spotlight: Introducing U-POS
The highlight of this year's show was the debut of U-POS, FEC's newest all-in-one POS terminal — making its first public appearance on the show floor. Compact, fast, and built for high-traffic retail environments, U-POS drew a steady stream of hands-on visitors throughout the event.

Live in the Field: Real Retailer Scenarios
Rather than static displays, the FEC team ran live checkout scenarios throughout the show — including a full point-of-sale flow demoed with Franprix, walking visitors through everything from item scan to payment.
Self-Service in Action
Alongside staffed checkout, the booth also featured Asten Market's self-checkout kiosk — showing how FEC hardware powers unattended, customer-led transactions just as smoothly as staffed counters.
